Methods We Use To Collect Your Contact Information

Contact Forms

If you contact us through our “Contact Us” form(s) on our websites it should be considered the same as sending us an email. You are giving us consent by way of an obligation to respond to your inquiry. We will only contact you regarding that specific inquiry and will not add you to any separate distribution list.

Just like sending email, we capture the IP Address of the sender for spam protection purposes. We also capture the email address and might capture other personal data included in the form fields. When visitors or users submit a contact form we retain the data on the web server for 30 days. The conversation in email form and on our email servers may be deleted right away or stored indefinitely and archived by us at the end of the dialogue, depending on the nature and contents of the conversation, legalities and the impact to our business.

Discussion Forums and Chat

We are not liable or responsible for the personally identifiable or other information you choose to submit in forums such as a bulletin board, chat room or any other publicly accessible area of our sites.

Blog and Article Comments

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Uploading Images

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.


If you participate in one of our online polls, we do capture your IP Address for spam protection and to set voter limitations. We then retain the IP Address data for 30 days and anonymize it.

Our Contact Manager (CRM), Help Desk and Live Chat

In the case of our contact management (crm) as well as the support services that we offer such as help desk and chat, we use a third-party vendor (currently Zoho) to manage these services. You can view their privacy policy here

Each time you contact us through our support desk at, you are creating a ticket ID and establishing an account on our help desk system. It is within your right to view the information within your account at our help desk. You may also update, copy and or delete this information from within the help desk system.

Opting In to Email and Marketing Campaigns

You will see several opportunities throughout our website to subscribe or “opt-in” to our email list and subscription campaigns. In order to participate in those campaigns, you must give us explicit consent in order to do so.

In opting-in you are also giving us permission to use your email address and/or phone number with our advertising provider, Facebook. We upload this hashed file into our advertiser account where it is used to find others (called a look alike audience) with similar interests and characteristics with those in our list who may also be interested in our products and services. If you later decide to opt-out of our subscription(s) we will also delete your information from the aggregate list that we upload to Facebook.

Information We Collect Automatically

Our web server software logs all activity on our servers for security purposes. This gathered information may include IP addresses, Geo Location and other device identifiers.

We also use other security software on our site that monitors and controls such activities as logging in and out, updates and posts. These activities are monitored using IP address and user names and are logged and backed up for a period of 3 years for any forensic or other investigative purposes. This is required to protect our servers from common threats which ultimately protects our end users.


Our site uses “cookies” and other tracking technologies. A cookie is a small text file that is handed to your web browser when you access pages on a website. Our site, just like most others, use cookies to enhance your browsing experience.

How We Use Cookies

Account Logins

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Content Delivery System

Backing Up Server Data

We use cookies on the admin side for establishing connections with third-party vendors for sending and receiving backups. These vendors include Google Drive, Dropbox, Amazon S3 and phpseclib for FTP accounts. Additionally, cookies may be set for potentially fixing cron requests at erratic servers. These cookies will last for 14 days.

Advertisements on Our Site

Many advertisements appearing on our sites are delivered from Google and other may be delivered to you by us or one of our advertising partners. Our Web advertising partners may set cookies. Doing this allows the advertising partners to recognize your computer each time they send you an advertisement.

Our use of Third-Party Cookies to Advertise to you on Other Websites

We will use personal information gathered either voluntarily or through automated mechanisms to target advertisements toward you on other sites based on things such as geolocation, gender, interests, goals, habits, etc. This is commonly known as re-marketing or re-targeting.

Controlling Cookies
